Gratitude for a song

Shout your silence, make me deaf. Render all that hankers, mute.
How this wind dries all that grows, but you don't know.

I keep the seed all safe and quiet, time will ripen what's green.
Gratitude for a song, cast fame to the walls. Shatter with love, you know this.

Keep the calm whilst angered flags fly; the world isn't just of folk.
There's the stream, the brook and eagle still. Sweeping leaves, and blossoms too.

I love the things of you like salt loves earth. Deny it more, it matters none.
Loveable is able to love: this is you. Liveable, likewise. You did it before, long time ago.

Keep my hanky in your drawer, flick the wheel again and ashes settle. See the patterns.
I made them while you slept (or wept), who knows. Pluck me up, I'm yours always.
